2021

Acquisition of Plastinova and the Pot&Deco brand.

Development of the product offer with new ranges of indoor and outdoor pottery in new materials (terracotta, ceramic, basketry, etc.)

Launch of the indoor pot collection ! A complete range that rethinks the use of indoor pots to offer easy-to-use design products that meet consumers’ watering needs

2020-2021

Expansion of the Bellignat logistics site with the creation of a new building (Bellignat II) and the purchase of a warehouse (Bellignat III).

The Bellignat site now comprises 3 buildings, offering 25,000m² of indoor storage and 11,500m² of outdoor storage.

2020

The laundry offer is expanding to include a brand new range: Almeria, a chest and a basket with an organic design.

A new shape of plant containers with a round design enhances the Up ranges.

2019

Development of the Stone range with the arrival of the storage boxes. With a modern, designer decor, the Stone range is the perfect asset to bring a decorative touch to interiors.

2018

The decorative pottery offer is completed by two new ranges: Cancùn, with rounded shapes and colorful touches, and the Up range: a variation of the Graphit and Volcania ranges, specially designed for small spaces!

2017

Creation of a new EDA showroom with 700m² of exhibition space

2016

EDA launches the Mobilo range: optimized storage, within easy reach for every room in the house.

2015-2016

Two ranges dedicated to the landscaping of terraces and gardens are born: Graphit and Volcania. They are modular according to your taste and bring design with their modern decorations!

2010

Launch of the Toscane range, the very first colored flower pots. Iconic, the Toscane pots have established our reputation in the decorative pottery market.

2005

The acquisition of the company Sisval has enabled us to develop the toy range and especially the sports and snow range.

2004

Launch of the first rainwatertank.

EDA builds a new site located in Bellignat (01), entirely dedicated to the Garden activity and which also hosts a clearance store.

2003-2004

Following a fire in October 2002, reconstruction of a new 10,000m² warehouse on the historical site of Oyonnax (01).

2000-2002

EDA integrates the SCMP company, specialized in home products and particularly private labels and especially distributor labels.

In 2002, the company acquires AMI, specialized in pottery, planters and products dedicated to the garden.

1997-1998

In order to diversify into the sports and snow market, EDA acquires the brand of racquets “Follys” and the company RD Plastiques, a specialist in flower pots and horticulture tubs.

1996

Hervé DAVID, the founder’s son, takes over the general direction of the group.

A turning point for the family business at the dawn of new business developments.

1982

Creation of a new activity “Snow and Leisure”, with the launch of the first EDA sledge.

1980

New strategic orientation, launch of designed garden furniture and home equipment in the garden market sector.

1970

New development of the product range with the creation of the “Outdoor” activity and the launch of the very first EDA coolbox.

1965

Launch of the first watering can, historical product of the EDA brand

1950

The company acquires injection molding machines to diversify its offer by designing and manufacturing plastic toys under the brand name Dolly.

The company has made this plastic know-how its DNA.

1946

The company is founded by Mr. Georges DAVID. It began its activity by manufacturing and selling celluloid combs, an activity that has shaped the industrial heritage of the town of Oyonnax.
