Our Commitments

The EDA Group structures its CSR approach aroundfour fundamental pillars: :

Designing durable and responsible products

Preserving our planet

Acting for local development

Retaining and developing our employees

Context and Challenges

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an essential lever to address environmental and social challenges. In the plastics industry, these issues take on particular importance in the face of the climate emergency and the need for better resource management.

The circular economy is at the heart of these considerations. It aims to transform waste by promoting recycling and material recovery. However, in France, only a small proportion of plastics is currently recovered.

Our Role

Faced with these challenges, the EDA Group focuses its efforts on manufacturing eco-designed, durable, and 100% recyclable products, to maximize their recyclability and reduce their environmental impact.

While the circular economy is supported by public policy, we play a key role in the manufacturing stage, by creating products that fit into this sustainable model.

This authentic approach has enabled us to earn the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, as well as the Origine France Garantie, LNE, MORE, and PEFC labels.

Since 2017

Label certifying that all our products are made in France, with at least 50% of production costs of French origin.

Since 2020

Label certifying the introduction of recycled plastic materials into our production.

Since 2022

Label guaranteeing that our products come from responsible sources, contributing to the sustainable management of forests

Since 2024

Awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal in 2025. This standard certifies our CSR approach, assessing our environmental, social, and ethical performance.
After obtaining the bronze medal in 2024, EDA Group is now among the top 15% of companies in its sector.

Since 2025

Certification by the French National Laboratory of Metrology and Testing (LNE), attesting to the increasing integration of recycled plastic materials (RPM) in our processes.

Preventing the Loss of Industrial Plastic Pellets (IPP)

As part of our continuous improvement strategy and to ensure sustainable and environmentally responsible production—and in compliance with Decree 2021-461 of April 16, 2021 on the prevention of industrial plastic pellet losses—the EDA Group conducted an audit in May 2024 by a certified external company.

The measures put in place enabled us to obtain certification, valid for 3 years.

The EDA Group is actively committed to responsible management practices aimed at minimizing the environmental impacts related to IPP dispersion, by implementing all necessary technical and organizational measures.

Our Commitments to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Our actions align fully with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

We optimize our processes to limit water consumption and reduce our water footprint, especially in our manufacturing.

We invest in eco-design and innovation to develop sustainable and recyclable products, favoring mono-materials and optimizing resource use.

We reduce our environmental impact by maximizing the use of recycled materials, minimizing waste, and offering long-lasting products.

We contribute to ecosystem preservation by obtaining certifications such as PEFC and Plant’Action, which guarantee sustainable resource management and promote environmentally friendly practices.

Every day, we implement concrete actions for a more sustainable future, in line with our values of commitment and responsibility.

DECARBONIZATION PROJECT

Our roadmap:

We aim to reduce our carbon footprint by 30% by 2028.

Our goals :

  • Increase the share of recycled materials in our products
  • Support our long-standing local partners in our CSR efforts.
  • Reduce unnecessary packaging and optimize transport and palletization
  • Strengthen our specifications and purchasing charter to continue favoring local and virtuous solutions
  • Create a CSR Manager position to support our approach and help our clients with their sustainable transition
  • Contribute to the effective recycling of our products

Together, let’s continue to reduce our impact for a sustainable future, staying true to our values and our commitment to the environment, our employees, and our region.
