FAQ

How do I turn on my Aqualight pot?

Before the first use, put the module on “ON ” position:

The LED lights up.

Then put some clay balls at the bottom of your Aqualight, then the soil and your plant:

You can now fill your water supply, and continue until the LED goes out.

However, for the first few weeks, we advise you to water your plant without using the watering chimney but by watering the soil directly. This will help your plant to better take root

To help you, you can watch the video “Setting up”.

How does Aqualight work ?

Very simply ! Aqualight is equipped with an automatic water level recognition system. When the water supply is empty, the LED lights up to indicate that it needs to be refilled. When the water is full, the LED goes out, indicating that you can stop pouring.

Can I use my Aqualight outdoors ?

The Aqualight is not intended for outdoor use.

The LED does not light up

The module may be in the OFF position…

Put the switch, located under the pot, in the ON position.

The battery may have been discharged before the first use…

Place the pot in a bright environment, e.g. behind a sunny window, and let the system charge for 5 hours or more.

The battery is discharged…

If the battery, which is a rechargeable battery, has been used for more than 2 years in a continuous situation, it may be necessary to replace it with a compatible reference (AAA – rechargeable 1.2V / >=800 mAh).

The LED never goes out

It is possible that the water level sensor inside the pot behind the LED system is blocked. Try shaking or tapping your pot to unblock the level sensor.

My plant is not doing well

Some plants cannot stand being planted in a pot with a water reserve because they receive too much water…

Ask your retailer to check whether your plant is compatible with a pot with a water reserve.

You did not put clay balls in the pot before planting your plant…

Without clay balls, the water can rise too quickly in the soil and cause excess water, which is harmful to your plant. Repot your plant adding clay balls at the bottom of your Aqualight. To help you, you can watch the “Setting up” video.

Is the Aqualight pot recyclable?

The plastic pot is 100% recyclable.
When recycling, separate the electronic part (see diagram below) from the pot and put it in an adapted recycling point.
